The shelf looks A LOT lighter in photos than in real life. Most of our furniture is dark so I was grabbing something to bring a little light and openness into the room. My husband had this pretty much built before I had seen the pieces or I probably wouldn’t have continued. The back of the shelf is atrocious. I am using this to be somewhat of a room divider between living/dining (therefore the back will be exposed). Tons of silver screws on the back of dark cardboard backing makes this shelf look cheap and ugly. I haven’t decided if I will return it, look for black screws or just move this to another section of our place. Overall it’s cute, will be functional for what I need.. but no I would absolutely never pay $150 again.

This cube style book case is excellent. The quality is slightly below IKEA but some elements are better. I really like the back panel, it's not cardboard and everything has prefabricated holes making assembly simple. It looks amazing. I do agree with other reviews...it does feel a bit tippy. Less so once it's all loaded up with stuff. Overall excellent peice of furniture and it looks amazing.

This shelf is absolutely gorgeous and for the price, a fantastic find. It suits the needs we have for the office book shelf and provides a working surface for me to do hole punch, laminate or other such office activities. It came with legs, but I don't like cleaning under things, so my amazing hubby built a matching base for it to sit on instead. He built it by using regular white shelf board and I covered it with adhesive shelf paper. He also closed in the back of the cupboard that the shelf sits back-to-back against so that the back of the cupboard matched the design of this shelf. The shelf is very sturdy, was very easy to put together, the instructions were specific and detailed and easy to follow. Highly recommend it.

Purchase this unit to have in my baby's nursery. It's very cute and functional. Definitely not as well made as the Ikea counterpart, but good value for the price point.
