The Velcro wore quickly on the chin pad, like in the matter of 2-3 weeks. I replaced the Velcro on the mask itself to some stronger Velcro however the pad itself wore down so quickly, it doesn’t stay on long.

Fits good and tight. Doesnt wiggle or fall off her face when she runs or moves. Helped her not be afraid of the ball coming towards her head. Great mask

Overall this mask is good and does it’s job. The piece for the chin is a little uncomfortable so we had to adjust the top part but overall it is a sturdy good quality mask.

I got this face mask specifically for my ten-year-old daughter to use as a backup. When we received it, I had her try it on. It appeared to fit but she complained that the padding around her forehead was uncomfortable and was pressing on her. Luckily, I have a six-year-old daughter as well and with a slight adjustment of the straps, the mask fit her better. Because of this, I think it is important that the item description say more than just the fact that it fits a "kid" but mention the range of head sizes it is for. That being said, the item itself looks and feels like a high quality item. Would recommend this for a child around six years old.

This is a very solid face mask and well made. I have no doubt that it will protect my daughter's face and should come in useful when she is fielding. I compared it to a friend's fielding mask and found that the weight is similar. I like that you can reposition the padding (velcro attachment to the metal frame), and the soft straps are adjustable on top as well as on the sides. My daughter is 7, with a regular/larger face, so she is able to wear it with the straps mostly tightened up. I think that we'll be able to get several years of use out of this. There is also space for a ponytail to fit as well, so we are pleased with this purchase!
