The bracket mounted to one stud and is sturdy. I didn't have more backing available. Also, I was mounting a 42 inch television, so not too heavy. Works great. The arm doesn't extend far enough for the set to turn 90 deg, but that is not an issue for me. I can easily get 45 deg with the 42 inch set.

Very happy with this product. Easy to install. I was able to center my tv center on the wall nicely even though center point was between studs

This TV wall mount is great to elevate a TV monitor and save table/floor space by eliminating the need for a TV stand. The metal is strong and holds a monitor securely. When installed, the monitor can be pulled away from the wall several feet, as well as angled in several ways to reduce glare and make it easier to see from your vantage point in the room. As long as it is installed in a stud, it should be sturdy and safe on the wall.

I wanted to love this. I can tell that the mount itself is well made, but it took me all day to set this up and I had to rig a few things.1. The screws stripped literally immediately. I even drilled a small pilot hole into the stud, and had the perfect sized bit. Just cheap hardware.2. If you have a curved back tv you may want to reconsider the full motion mount. This one was my bad. The back of my TV isn't level. Although there are 4 mounting screw holes on the back of the TV the top 2 are not level with the bottom. Luckily, this seller included spacers which is amazing. However, even the big spacer and little spacer together wasn't enough to level it out even. I had to use one large spacer and 2 small ones just to get it level.3. The mounting screws were too long to mount the back bracket onto the TV.The 2 "easy" screw holes were very short on my TV, and even the shortest screws provided were too long. Which wouldn't have been an issue for me if I could have used the spacers, however I had to use them all for the other 2 holes.4. After macguivering all the steps, frustrating myself and stripping screws I finally got the TV mounted.... and it looks amazing. Seems secure, until I extend the arm, because it is such a small arm the TV feels a little wobbly, I'm sure it's fine as I screwed it into the studs but im scared to extend it outward other than just the tiniest bit.Over all:Pros:SturdySeems durableLots of hardwareSpacersDifferent mounting patternsCons:Screws stripNeed more spacersSlightly more detail on instructionsArms extended = wobblyI am not bashing this product at all I'm sure it works for a lot of people I'm just giving my honest review. For reference, my TV is a 48" Sylvania roku TV. This ad says it's for up to 55 inches, but unless mines tight against the wall it seems a little sketchy, if you own a similar TV to mine it may not work the best otherwise for the price I think it's still a great buy.I may even still purchase another one for my basement, as the price is very good. I just won't extend the arm.

Out of the box I was a little concerned it would not home the older ish tv it was to hold but I can say it's small size is sturdy and strong even fully stretched with a 50lbs tv mounted.

My daughter got a new 55” TV and wanted a swivel mount that was easy to install. But I wanted to make sure we got something that would be securely mounted and this TV mount works great. It’s not very big but once installed it is very strong and holds a 55” TV without any issues. The swivel feature works great also. Very well-made product!

Wow this is a workhorse! We recently got a window unit put in which is almost right behind where the tv was and the tv was flush against the wall mounted on a stud between windows. So, we couldn't leave the tv mounted there or it would block the window unit. That's when I saw this mount! The tv is a little older and one of the heavier flat screen models, maybe about 40-50 lbs. I checked the weight limit and this mount is rated for up to 66 lbs so I'm well within reason. I'm at the mercy of the screws and the stud! It basically came already put together, I just had to mount it to the wall. I was literally done in less than 10 minutes. Now, I can pull the tv away from the wall and it's not blocking the ac unit in the room! Not only that, I can angle it too! It feels very solid even with this fossil of a tv and was the perfect fix for our situation. Now, to get a new tv!

I’ve always had those flat mount for my TVs in the past, but having tried this one, I want more for the house! First off it’s really small, but doesn’t feel weak or flimsy. The joints are tight, yet smooth to angle how I need it. Admittedly I am only using a 32” tv in the photos, but it would easily support a larger model with the included brackets. It folds nearly flat against the wall. It could probably go all the way, but my tv is older and a bit bulky in the back, but allows me enough space to hide my Nintendo Switch when not being used. I wish I’d gotten this sooner, as I’d have gotten more for my dual monitor setup, instead of the clunkier mount I have to hold both monitors. This is a high recommend from me for anyone looking for a quality mount at a lower price point!
