This tool is sharp and very useable. I only have one downside to it, I am tall and wanted the handles to extend much further, but we will make do.

OK, I’ve used tools that have these extendable handles before, and they were a bit of a bother because they would loosen, and I was constantly tightening them up; but these stay tight, so there’s that.. The blades are heavy duty and sharp (another thing that I was skeptical about) but they cut through thumb sized green wood easily. Now, a 2 inch hickory branch? Not so easy. As a matter of fact, I wouldn’t try to push them that far. And hard dead wood Is out of the range of these snippers. If you use them as they were intended, I think you’ll be very satisfied. Being able to collapse the handles makes for easy storage anywhere. Would I buy these again? Yes. Are they worth the money? Yes, they are. I’m happy with this purchase.

This is a dandy little small branch cutter. I knew when I bought it that it wouldn't extend out as far as I might want but it is fine for small jobs and the price was definitely right at the time. I will buy a longer extending set later but for now it is fine to help put the garden to bed.
