Once the package arrived, I opened it to find that the brass nut at the top of the spring was broken. Luckily, i'm a machinist, and drilled and tapped it to receive a #4-40 bolt. I didn't think about taking pictures before fixing it. Other than that, great tool! I think I will get many good years of use! Great value also! No other problems! I will buy again, if needed.

This should not be used for scratching out metal. It's very weak for that purpose. I found they moved out of position when apllying to much pressure. These are made for maybe like maps or building plans and such.

I guess you get what you pay for, but the end is filed so poorly. Was expecting something just a bit better quality.
