This Actuator Did Not Work in a 1999 Dodge Ram 1500. The actuator centered with the temperature control in the middle position, and would then turn toward cold or hot ONCE, but then stopped responding to the thermostat. I verified that the thermostat voltage was correct in all positions and that the blend door was moving freely in both directions. A Dorman 604-018 replacement worked great. This may be a vehicle/year specific thing. I hope this helps others.

Worked like factory original. Fixed my heater blend door problem on 2001 Dodge 2500 truck. Looked like factory original product. And was much cheaper.
