Good value for money. It is strong, waterproof and the colours are vibrant.Installing it was easy. It was very robust so it can be pulled tautly when installing. I took it down every fall, which again was easy. Lasted three seasons before I replaced it. After three seasons the colour had faded on the top, although the bottom was still as vibrant as when we bought it. The fabric had also become weak and could be torn if pulled on hard enough, but it lasted 3 years, and for $50, I was very satisfied.When installing I would suggest that the dimensions of your tie-off points be at least 12 inches or 300 mm larger than the advertised sail size (i.e. 6 inches gap at each corner). So buy a sail that is 1 foot smaller in both dimensions as your tie off point.Suggest that one corner be installed at least 2 feet (600mm) lower than the other corners, to ensure drainage. As well, again to ensure drainage, the sail should be installed tautly.

We recently received this Shade Sail, and as for quality, it is excellent! Stitching is great and I feel it is more water resistant than not. Not waterproof, but hugely water resistant. If you can manage a slope to it where the rain will run off, you will never have to worry about rain coming through. However, if you think you can get this huge 20 x 16 Shade Sail stretched out all nice and taunt, think again, it's never going to happen! I later took a real good look at all the shade sail pictures here advertised, and they are all photoshopped! We were thinking of putting this over our deck and have it stretch from the corners of our deck to the roof of our garage. Good plan, except that the weight of pulling on the sail affected our (brand new) deck rails. So, will have to make a Plan B for something over our deck and patio furniture. BUT, absolutely beautiful, well made and quality material. It held up in a pretty bad wind storm with lots of rain and eventually brought a 4 x 4 beam down, but the material stood up, no rips or tears.

This is a great sun shade! The quality of the material is really nice. Durable and sturdy. It was easy to put up over my dog kennel to shield them from the rain and sun. The eye hoops in the corners are really sturdy as well. Should hold up against those summer storms just fine. I’ll definitely be buying more for the rest of my kennels. The colour is beautiful too!

a surprisingly great and practical solution to keeping the direct sun from the deck table and chairslooked at a number of options and decided to give the sail a try and it works better than expected at providing sufficient sun relief and short term shower protection - other options were just too expensive and cumbersomewater resistance is good however it is just fabric and does leak a little at the seam but i have realistic expectations given the costa great cost effective solution that keeps the direct sun at bay and looks nice as well

Put this sunshade up at a good angle on my back deck, but the inner material ripped with a bit of water pooling. I thought it would handle more. Make sure you have it very well sloped. Seemed to block the sun nicely though.

Not only was I pleasantly surprised with a note from the seller hoping that I enjoy my purchase, but right out of the box it was clear that the material used was of good quality. Though 10' x 13' is two sections sewn together, it does not make it any less pleasant to look at. I decided on the Grass Green one as I have a garden with many colourful plants and wanted to add to it. The colour is vibrant and bright as seen in the images posted for the product. It creates plentiful shade and is extremely easy to setup. The only suggestion I would have is to purchase a shade hardware kit or turnbuckles, pad eyes, and carabiners to properly stretch and set the sail up. As for winds and rain, it has had no problems withstanding either. Water will run right off if angled properly and puddle on top of the shade if not stretched out enough which I tested myself. Furthermore, water won't soak the sail which is a huge plus and wind doesn't appear to cause any problems.Conclusion: I wouldn't hesitate to purchase this shade sail again in the future as it is a quality product that serves its purpose better than expected.

I ordered a 10' x 10' size but it actually measures 8 feet 4 inches per side - maybe factory measures on the diagonal but it's NOT an ACCURATE measurement - it is actually nearly 20% smaller! Quality seems very good and it is easy to put up.

Bought this in June and by Labor Day weekend all the seams were ripping and one good gust of wind completely tore one corner. Didn’t even make it three full months.
