Although this toy is meant to be enjoyed by cats, I have a small dog, only 3 pounds, who is in need of something interesting and fun to play with, so I gave it a try.She was excited to see it right from the box. It was difficult to wait long enough to top up the charge, as directed. That took about 1.5 hours. Then, when I finally turned it on and put it on the floor, the fun began. She was a bit nervous of it, but followed it everywhere it went and watched with great interest. It held her interest for about 40 minutes before she either lost interest or got tired.It's not the best toy for a dog though. A cat would bat at it, toss it like it would a dead mouse, and in doing so, keep it going. Our little dog doesn't play like that so I had to frequently get up and get it going again or pull it from a space where it became jammed. Still, it's worth the money and she did have fun and exercise, keeping her eye on that crazy critter.I'd buy it again if need be, but I do think it would be much better for the cat it's intended for.

Battery lasts a while and it never gets stuck against walls and stuff. Super cute!

My cat loved this toy and then it completely stopped working after one day. I charged it completely and it still didn’t work.
