Unpacked and tested the saw today. Overall very impressed with the workmanship. Handle and blade lock mechanism one of the best i have seen so far. All metal construction, and a very sturdy, easy to use blade lock. No cheap and fragile plastic. With the exception of the handle ergonomics, where its needed for for a good comfortable fit. Saw blades came sharp, with tooth protection to avoid chewing up the sheath. On that topic, sheath seams sturdy, with a reinforced spine, nice. Also a separate sleeve for the spare blade. Nice touch that it comes with two blades. One straight and one curved. I have two concerns though. The teeth on the blades could be a bit more aggressive. But my biggest concern is the poorly executed belt hanger. This is plastic, and the rivet that holds it to the sheath needs to be revisited. Other than that, very happy with the quality. Highly recommended for the price!

My husband sees himself as a gifted gardener and landscaper. He was thrilled with this tool and has not stopped talking about it for days now. It is sharp, easy to grip, and just the right size. He did get a couple of scratches trying to put on the blade though.

I purchased this to assist me as I literally cut my way through a forest of fallen trees in the wake of hurricane Helene. My in-laws own a cattle farm in South Central Georgia and took 130mph winds that dropped every oak tree on their property. The attached photo is of their cattle feeding trailer. They load bales of hay on it and drive it into the fields to feed their cattle. Without it, they have to use their tractor to carry them one at a time. This tree fell on the trailer and cut off their access to the bales of hay behind it. I have 3 chainsaws for the big stuff, but I wanted something small for branches and limbs. I couldn't have chosen a better little saw. The handle and curved blade made quick work of the limbs in my way. I actually preferred using this saw for the tree top due to most of the branches on a fallen tree are under tension due to being bent. With a chainsaw you take the risk of having limbs whip, so a hand saw is better for controlling the cut.Notes on this saw. The curved blade is amazing, I never put the straight blade on.The blade did admirably before dulling. I used a dremel sharpener and was right back to cutting green oak like butter. The sheath, although a great idea, lasted literally 5 minutes. It does a great job protecting the blade, but the little rubber belt loop tears away from the metal rivet that attaches it to the nylon sheathing in no time. Normally I would take a star away, but this little saw was so instrumental in helping me clean my in-law's farm of debris that I don't care. I love this saw.The last picture is literally the pile of limbs I cut with this saw to free the cattle feed trailer. It took down limbs as thick as six inches in diameter with no problem.I actually plan on getting another one to keep as a backup.

This is a great little hand saw for pruning. The blades change out easily much like box cutter blades and they stay in firmly. It cut some old 2-3" branches from my apple tree that I pruned earlier easily. Very happy with the purchase!
