I've had so much trouble getting over the air TV. This product helped me find the optimal position for my antenna, and it did so very quickly.Previously, I would have to wait a half hour as my tv scanned for channels. Then I'd find a channel that was poor quality and start repositioning the antenna. I'd have to scan again to see if any new channels were found. I don't know how many times I did this.Those days are over! This device comes with everything you need (battery, cable) to do its job. It was sad how quickly I found the best spot for my antenna - I would have enjoyed playing with this a bit longer.The included battery was really strong - the lights were blinding; the mechanism is simple to use. I'm a satisfied customer.

J’ai acheté ce Signal Finder afin de déterminer le meilleur angle pour positionner mon antenne TV dans l’entretoit de la maison afin de capter sans pixellisation le signal TV des différents postes dans ma région.Ce Signal Finder, n’a aucune utilité pour déterminer le meilleur endroit pour une antenne. Par exemple, j’avais toujours deux LED verts d’allumés même pour un canal où il n’y avait pas de signal.De plus, il apporte trop d’atténuation, car sur un poste où j’ai normalement un signal, lorsqu’il passe au travers de cette boîte, il n’y a plus de signal. Donc, c’est presque une arnaque.Je l’ai donc retourné.

Me gusto : Muy práctico, útil, de uso sencillo para la orientación de la antena receptora hacia las antenas transmisoras de Televisión digital terrestre.Sugerencia : Debería tener incorporado este equipo un display donde pueda ver la ganancia " los dBi's " de antena que se apunta en las direcciones de alineamiento hacia las antenas transmisoras.

This gadget is useful for when you park your RV in a new campground and since most TV aerials are directional you never now which way to point the antenna before you do the scanning for channels, before with analog channels you just had to find the strongest signal but this doesn't work anymore with digital signals.I took out one star since the first unit I got failed in the first 5 minutes of use, Amazon sent me a replacement very quickly and this new one works fine, great little gadget to have.

This item works awesome for a travel trailer(RV). I am guessing that many of the people leaving negative reviews for this product, are not very tech savy and do not read directions very well. With my TT parked in my driveway I went from getting 8 channels without this to getting 29 channels with this little gadgets help. I am over 65 miles as the crow flies from ANY broadcast towers, and I was also pulling channels from over 125 miles away! I pointed the antenna halfway in between the best two readings, and that is where I found my 29 channels, so it takes some common sense to get prime coverage but without this device many will just be guessing on how good your reception could be. It sure is nice on those rainy camping days to have a good selection of channels to watch. A person has to have some idea of what direction to point the antenna, and with many online maps as well as smartphone apps anyone should be able to get in the right direction. I would spend twice as much for this item knowing how well it has helped me!! Great product for an even greater price, don't wait-get it!!! This is not a signal booster, but rather a tool to help you get the best reception by following the supplied instructions and turn the unit off when not searching for which way to turn your antenna!

Good to see the best position pf the antenna for the strongest signals butthis can also be done manually as will still have to move the antenna yo select the best position for the maximum of your favorites.. Not nessary but useful particlarly ifyou have the antenna on a rv parked in differen position.

well constructed. difficult to understand the instructions when using a booster inline with the antenna. I purchased a King Jack digital HDTV over the air antenna at the same time. tried using it but was not sure where to plug this unit in ? before or after the booster. Anyway, not sure if I fused the unit because I could not get the blue lights any more. So I just adjusted the antenna by hand.I have not sent it back because I have discarded the packaging etc???So it is a loss for me?
