I think it makes him look fabulous, especially when he is wearing his black gaiters. It fits him well and has prevented me from trying to dry his luxurious coat. He will not tolerate wearing the would-be hood, but doesn't fight me putting this on him, and drying his head is better than his whole body. I love the rear leg elastics since it keeps the coat in place. The material is lovely and wish I could have a matching coat. He is definitely high visibility in this coat, but I will keep it for rainy/snowy weather, since he prefers running around naked!

My puppy is huge and this coat covers his neck without being too tight. Colourful and soft, recommended!

I really wish I could like this company's products. They're really well made. But the neck openings are all way too small in proportion to the body. I had to buy a 5x for my 65 lb pitbull. Her neck is only 19-20", but the 4x was way too small, and the 5x fits her neck, but the body is big enough to swim in. I can't keep it on her at all. The leg straps don't go that small, and the torso almost goes around her twice. It's really too bad, because I like everything else about it. I don't understand why the proportions/fit are so grossly mismatched.

Extremely happy with this purchase. It's hard to find a jacket for my great dane and even harder to find one that is a decentprice. This one exceeded my expectations. It is great quality and a great price. I'm able to use it over his fleece jacket in the winter to keep him dry. I like the front that comes down his legs a bit as well as the neck that can cover his neck and head if needed. I wish they made winter jackets in a 7X as I would purchase one.

We live in WA where, in winter, it's wet almost daily. This has been so great for keeping him mostly dry. For sizing, he's wearing a 5XL & he's a tall, slender doodle - weighs about 75 lbs. The jacket is very secure - it hooks around and clips together as well as having clips for the leg holes. The hole for the neck also helps keep it secure. We did not have any issues with it rotating or shifting placement. Highly recommend! Added bonus - look how cute he is with this jacket :)

I have a 7 month old Golden Retriever who's currently using a cheap-o plastic dog poncho until he gets to be full-size. I ordered this 5XL in preparation for that time. Right now, He's approx 55-60 lbs, 18" neck, 30" girth and 24" long, so that would put him in the 4XL range. The 5XL is currently too big (the belly cinch is a little loose at the smallest adjustment and the coat is a good 3-4 inches too long) so I think it'll be perfect when he's an adult--his father is about 80 lbs.) Fitting dogs is a pain since they come in all shapes and sizes so I hope this helps. Photos are a bit foreshortened and he wasn't really cooperating, but hope they give a sense of how it fits.The coat is lightweight and lined, similar to a mid-quality human rain coat. I don't think it matters that the lining is "sweat absorbent" since I haven't ever seen a sweaty dog. :) The front chest panel goes between the legs and then belts around the middle. It's a little fiddly because you have to rethread the strap. The back has step in adjustable elastic around the legs to secure it. There's one hole for a leash covered by a flap--I didn't see if it works with a harness. There's a velcroed flap pocket on the back. I guess it could hold poo bags, but it's not the zippered pocket that serves as a storage pouch as illustrated. which is a bit disappointing. It has elastic adjustable cords at the tail and hood. It has a silver reflective string used as edging for everything but the hood. Everything looks like it will hold together, but the sewing seems a bit crooked and wonky. The back straps' sewing isn't reinforced, but the chest straps are.All in all it's a decent buy for a mid-priced coat. Beats the cheap-o poncho.

It is so hard to find a perfect fit for my golden. This was a great choice. I like it. It is lightweight and has plenty of straps and velcros to hold it in place. It is cute and is actually a teal color. We went with a 5XL for her, but could have gone with a 4 XL because she is not that wide, but I don't believe the length would have worked for her. Still does what it supposed to do.
