This fork is great. It doesn't really match any of my other utensils, but it's awesome for cooking over a fire. It is very good at puling my pot roasts apart and spearing them out of the pot. It's well made and has a nice weight. I easily give this 5 stars.

I can't believe how cool this two-tine pot fork is. It's really well made and would be a great addition to any renaissance decor. I envision it would have been a pretty fancy utensil back in the day. The fork came lightly coated with oil, not sure if that was a by-product of manufacturing or applied intentionally as a rust inhibitor. Either way, it is a spectacular fork! Totally giftable too.

I've had my eye out for a carving fork for a while, so anyone looking at this item and thinking it's not that practical, it's actually a perfect carving fork. Although I have to admit isn't not quite as impressive as I though it would be, apparently 10 inches in my mind is larger than 10 inches in reality, it does match the description and images exactly and is well made. It's super sturdy as well. I never would've thought to use something like this for a carving fork before I saw it, but it's great! Has a nice look and isn't too expensive, and makes the carving fork I had feel like a flimsy piece of junk. Not sure the market for this item, but make no mistake it is an excellent and attractive carving fork. Though I'm not sure about cosplay or as a prop, which it would also be great for, I think the seller is targeting a niche market. Note that this is cast iron and will rust if not dried after use, if it's going to be sitting for a while you'll want to coat it with a light coat of oil. Any kind of cooking oil will work fine.

My fellowship and I thoroughly enjoy utensils that we can pack easily and keep clean on our quests. We love roasting quick meals over an open flame. Our marshmallows are superior with the aid of this fork. The handle prevents the fork from falling into the pot of spice soup. With this fork, I am the envy of both friend and foe. I proudly display it when I am enjoying time at home after a successful journey.
