Would be nice to know this product may only last 2 years since the pad battery is not replaceable. Works well otherwise.

THIS UNDER MATRESS PAD (my mattress is 10" high), COMES PAIRED WITH THE MONITOR ALREADY. SUPER EASY TO TURN PAD ON, IT BEEPS, YOU PLACE IT UNDER THE MATRESS, AND IT STOPS BEEPING. YOU THEN LAY ON THE BED, GET UP AN IT STARTS TO SOUND. YAY! NOW I can stop fretting I wont get there in time to use the urinal. All I can recommend is to have the monitor with a laniard, with the brand LOGO. What an idea for caregiver's peace of mind. The sweet nurse in the ER room recommended a bed alarm the day my husband fell into the shower and banged his head. He has Alzheimers and is legally blind.

I purchased the bed sensor and alarm for my mother in October. Her aide reported an issue with it in February - it began constantly beeping, even if my mother wasn’t in the bedroom. I contacted customer service and had the pleasure of working with Agna. She sent me troubleshooting ideas and corresponding videos. She wanted my feedback after trying to troubleshoot the product. It still wasn’t working appropriately. She immediately sent out a replacement at no charge. I’m going to install and pairit tomorrow. Agna asked me to follow up and let her know if it was successful or if I need any additional assistance. Wow! This really is a great company. They are very easy to work with and have useful functional products. I will buy from them again.

So easy to install and they even provided batteries and a small screwdriver in the package. It works as advertized even though we have a very thick bed mattress. The good thing I also like about this alarm system is that it doesn’t go off when he’s changing positions in bed. It only goes off immediately after he stands up. If it doesn’t wake me up, it’s human error. I will definitely recommend this to anyone who sleeps with or watches over someone with Dementia or Alzheimer’s.

My mother has dementia and had gotten out of bed in the middle of night and had a nasty fall. Purchased this bed mat and it works like a charm! Alarm goes off before she gets out of bed waking us up so we can tend to her before she wanders and potentially falls again. Was concerned whether that mat would work under a 10” memory foam mattress but it works every time. Now we can rest better knowing that we will receive an alert!

Well designed!Read the instructions!Not Bluetooth, no app to use, simply connect the two pieces, and choose if you want the ‘advanced warning’ on or off. If you do want to use it, make sure you have it positioned on the side of the bed for exiting.The monitor is AA power, use good batteries, and check on them monthly.Pad draws power from an internal battery, and without cracking it all open I’m not sure if it’s meant to be replaced. The pad does have an on / off button.This is a really neat and well thought out system. It simply works. I love that they’ve built in multiple notifications, there’s two volumes and a vibration mode. You can also send away for a call button that they’ll , at least they will at the time of this review.I love that they’ve put instructions everywhere!The pad to the alarm has a400 foot range (122 meters), based on environmentVery important, beyond how it’s already folded, do not fold the pad further.What powers the sensor? Better than ones on mattress.

This product held no surprises -- it works exactly as expected and as it should.

We’ve been using this for about a month for my elderly mother who, previous to the purchase, had a fall going to the bathroom one night. We like that it isn’t dependent on electrical power since we occasionally have a power outage. The alarm is triggered when my mother moves to the edge of the bed to get up. The only problem with that is that we get a number of false alarms because she likes to sleep right at the edge of her mattress. She will sometimes trigger the alarm just by rolling to the edge, not actually getting up. We have put a camera in her room now so that we can check on our smartphone if she is actually getting up or is just moving during sleep before racing down to her room to assist her.The alarm is LOUD! I can hear it from almost any room in the house when it goes off. I wish it had a volume control so that we could turn it down a bit when we are sleeping. I sleep with it on my nightstand so I can silence it immediately since it’s like having a smoke detector go off. The other annoyance is that when you turn it back on again, it gives out one loud alarm tone. I hide it under a pillow before turning back on so I don’t wake my husband up a second time.Overall I’m very satisfied with my purchase because I never miss my mother getting out of her bed alone.

Any caregiver will tell you that knowing where your loved one or patient is at all times is a good feeling and less stressful. Knowing when they can’t sleep or get out of bed with a wireless alert is a great way to provide the best care possible.This under mattress pad is a great size to cover majority of the bed space needed. It does not have any annoying wires and can securely be placed under a sheet so it’s out of sight, out of mind for the patient or loved one.The monitor is wireless and features some options to make the monitor just right for your needs. Volume adjustment or vibration only if choose. It also features a mounting option if you do not want to take it with you. Just stay within 300 feet. Personally, I recommend staying within 300 feet if possible as signal does weaken if greater than 200 (might be just my location in home).Overall, a useful and practical product and does what it was designed to do and does it well.Recommend.

If I could give this an even higher rating, I absolutely would! This is one of the best products I have experienced – simple, clever, and literally life-changing.It was incredibly easy to set up (virtually no set up at all) with easy-to-follow pictures and instructions. I chose it for my in-laws, for my mother-in-law who has Alzheimer's. My father-in-law is her primary caregiver at home, and he’s been so concerned when she is sleeping that she will get up out of bed without him noticing. He’s practically a hostage, not just at night but 24 hours. Not only does this simple little pad solve the problem for him, it does it to perfection. No false alarms. No missed alerts. No baffling complexity or apps or home automation integration that costs more in effort than it saves. It’s given him precious moments of worry-free time, and I am so grateful.The little "beeper" device can be mounted on a wall (which I'm choosing not to do) placed on a counter, or carried with a caregiver around the house. There is a belt loop attachment, so you could even wear it as a old-fashioned beeper, or new-fashioned cell phone, and walk around with it. Dad didn’t trust it right away, but he was so excited to tell us the next day, “I can do stuff in the basement or garage, even clean away the spider webs and old junk [inside joke] from the front bathroom! Impossible before, because I had no idea when she might get up!” Importantly, after a bad night he can also close his own eyes, let down his guard a bit and rest while she naps, knowing that he’ll get instant, reliable notification that she has gotten out of bed. He's her knight, and I'm welling up just thinking about him being able to have these little physical and mental breaks again, after several years of superheroic dedication.The beeper itself has two volume settings plus a vibration mode (the loudest is audible in the whole house) so there are a lot of different scenarios and ways to use it. He likes the lower tone at night when he’s in bed beside her. If a neighbour came to call, he might switch it to buzz in his pocket so it’s more subtle. We also set it on loud and leave it on the kitchen counter as a ‘shared’ alert when we’re all around.I wasn't sure that this would work for her particular bed - it's one of those adjustable beds, with an extremely thick mattress - almost 2 feet thick! The bed pictured on the box is quite thin, like a camp mattress, or a thin hospital mattress. But this product worked perfectly, under all that mattress, bedding and all! You can’t feel it under there. It does alert if she just sits on the bed and then stands again, but that’s not a flaw at all, and it’s very easy to clear the beeper.I wouldn’t change a thing. I don't think I could recommend this higher when it comes to giving family and caregivers some peace of mind about their loved one.

I’m the caretaker for both of my elderly parents. My mother will not use a walker & gets up all of the time during the night. She has fallen a lot even though I have a baby monitor & video cameras to alert me sometimes I’m so exhausted from mostly not sleeping during the night to listen for her getting up that I fall asleep for a while & that’s when she gets up & falls. I don’t have anyone to help me with caretaking & I’ve been at my wits end trying to find a device that would work for my situation. My mother moves around on the bed too much & a top of the bed monitor wouldn’t last through her tossing and turning. We have pets that would trigger the alarm for under the bed alert systems.This one worked perfectly & it was very easy to set up. Their bedroom is on the other side of a rather large house. I wasn’t sure how far I could be from the bed alarm but found that it works perfectly even way on the other side of the house! All in all she got up 7 times during the night & I was early alerted every single time before she even got up. This device is worth every penny! I will be buying one for my dad’s side even though he doesn’t really need monitoring.Thank you Lunderg for inventing this! I can sleep better now knowing that I won’t have to worry about being asleep when my mom gets up out of bed.
