I ordered a size up, so the sleeves are a little long but it fits perfectly over a thicker shirt or sweater. Great quality and works great in the car seat

I live where it is always warm so when we were going to vacation up north in the spring my daughter was in need of a jacket. Since she was only going to wear it for vacation I did not want to spend a ton of money. I wanted something that would keep the wind off and be somewhat water resistant. This jacket was perfect. First off it fit perfect. She loved the little thumb holes in the cuffs. The jacket is lined with a light fleece for extra warmth. Where we were it was super windy and it snowed and she was perfectly warm enough but not restricted since the jacket has a nicely fitted silhouette and has given us room to grow without added bulk.The hood was awesome too. It is detachable but we were not aware that it Velcro's to close inside secret pockets on wither side of the zipper. She could have her hood up, completely closed and it was not so high that it was in her way in her face and mouth.Great jacket all around and for the price you will be very surprised.My daughter is a very slim 6 year old and I bought the 6 long and it was a perfect fit with growing room. I liked the longer length, it covered her behind great.

I love this jacket. It reminds me of a North Face jacket my husband had. I think it was a “bionic” one. It’s almost like thin scuba material or something like that. I don’t know if it’s waterproof but we live in Seattle and so far this fall, it’s been great.My daughter was outside at preschool the other day and it was sprinkling. I think they had been out there for 30minutes and my daughter was completely dry. I like that this jacket protects against the wind and rain while still being thin and good quality.I think the only reason this jacket is priced below $30 is because the brand/company that is selling it is not a known brand.I wish it came in other “girl” colors besides the navy. I bought this in size 3 and 4 because I like it that much. My 3yr old wears a 4 in normal clothing like Gap, but coats tend to run a little bigger. I have her in the 3 right now so that I don’t have to cuff the sleeves. They go right below her wrist and her hands are still free to play without having to cuff the sleeves. Also I like that the jacket has the little elastic fingerless glove built in at the wrist (like on yoga jackets) if she wants to put her thumb in that to help keep the sleeves down and give her hands a little more protection.I definitely recommend buying this. I usually buy her North Face, Columbia, or other high quality outdoorsy-rugged jackets for Seattle weather and I think this jacket is comparable.

I am so impressed with this jacket! I cannot stress how much it is worth the low cost you pay for it! I have spent much more on jackets & coats for my daughter and they have not even come close to the quality and look/feel of this one. We live in northern MN and this is the perfect fall and mild winter jacket.- Shell is the perfect amount of flexibility, softness and thickness that it's comfortable yet warm and weather resistant.- Interior lining allows for easy on/off even with long sleeves on, its warm and can be layered with an additional fleece or sweatshirt for more warmth- Inner wrist cuff with a thumb hole is a bonus and just the right length for my tall 6 year old.- Hood is a good size, not too small to wear a hat underneath- No unnecessary branding or logos just a simple printed flower- Sewing, seams, and zippers are quality stitching feel secureI will be purchasing one for my other child as well, its a overall great versatile and durable coat for active kids!
