Works well to hang smoke detectors. The magnets make it east to remove the main body from the base to replace the battery.

u supposed to be able to put this between a drop ceiling tile and mine are just standard old school tile and it doesnt work. thats it. thank you will never buy again. Ciao

Magnets don’t stay attached to plates. Not worth the fuel to return them.
