Installation Steps:
1. cleaning the mounting area on the ceiling and peel off the protect cover of sticky pad.
2. attache the support plate to the marked location and press it firmly for a while.
3. clean the back of smoke alarm and adhesive the magnetic holder and press it firmly for a while.
4. Wait for 24H and install the smoke detectors on sticky pad directly.

Picture shows a large disc covering the entire side of a smoke detector. These disks are about size of half dollar. They do NOT cover the entire side. They may still do their job but Amazon needs to revise their false advertising.

The magnets were small but extreamly powerful. Only wierd thing was it had 3 circular magnets you have to use inside the two large ones and they kept shifting. Kinda of annoying.

Does not a good adhesive to plastic or walls. I bought these for smoke detectors and they keep falling down.😕

The product stuck to the smoke alarm OK seemingly, but they didn't instruct to remove the sticker on the smoke alarm first. As a result, the smoke alarm fell from the ceiling and smashed when the sticker peeled off. These would work great if you remove the sticker from the smoke alarm first.
