This kit was good quality and all the tools I needed to do a quality job. The leather lace is a little thin for a relace but works well for a repair

My son's old glove lace busted and it was such a nice leather glove, I knew we had to save it. It was going to cost just as much to take it to a sports resale store to get it relaced as it would to buy the kit and do it myself and have the stuff to do it again the next time. It's been a few months since I did it and the laces that were included are still holding up.

Based on the product ad in Amazon, the picture shows that the Side Cutter (pliers) tool should be included in the kit but it wasn't

Tools are decent. The laces are a bit dry, but some mink oil will help that. Enough lace to replace a 11.5 glove, but just enough.

life saver!... daughter texted me a picture of the lacing in her glove, with the laces broken. going into the post season, didn't want to break in a new glove. I was out of town, found the kit in amazon prime, had it shipped and ready to the house for my return and re-laced the glove in time for the game that night. I keep this repair kit with me for all the tournament games just incase someone on the team needs a repair... fantastic kit and life saver.. a must have

For the price, this product is quite excellent. The tools are made of sturdy materials, and the replacement lace should be sufficient for most any baseball glove(though I didn't use the replacement on a glove yet).The included instructions consist of a number of generic diagrams, which detail how to re-lace most gloves. Of course, the instructions can't cover ALL styles of glove, but they're enough to get you started.I used this set to tighten up a couple of gloves... The original laces weren't worn thin, but rather had stretched over time, so I didn't bother to replace them with the one from the kit. Starting with no idea where the various laces in the glove went, I was able to use the diagrams to determine where and what to pull or tighten. The tools were very useful - in past efforts, I've tried pliers, which damage the laces - and the needle provides good leverage to pull the laces tight. The only difficulty I encountered was that one glove was laced with thick leather straps, which proved difficult to thread through the eye of the needle. The eye is about 1/8" wide and 1/2" long, so keep that in mind when buying this product.All in all, I'd say this is quite useful and worth the price if you're planning on doing any glove restoration. The tools will last indefinitely, and they'll help you get more out of your favorite glove.
