WHAT IS A MARTINGALE COLLAR?
The main difference between a martingale collar and a regular collar is that it tightens up as a dog pulls. The purpose of this is not to choke a dog, but to prevent a dog from escape the collar. Many dogs have heads that are the same size or smaller than its neck. With a regular collar, when a dog backs up from up, it may be able to slip a regular collar. With a martingale collar, when this happens, the collar tightens and prevents it from come up over a dog's head.

being 1 inch thick was important for us, but our dogs neck size is a bit less than 14 inches. Most of the big brand names have collars which are 14-20 inches at 1 inch thick, OR 9-14 inches but would be at 0.75 inches thick.Neither size worked for our dog, this was perfect.I am confident our dog would fit into 2 of these sizes, small and medium due to the overlap in the sizing, which is something other brands are not doing.... RC Pets for example... The material feels nice, soft to the touch where other big brand name ones felt rougher.

I like the pretty pink color for my female GR puppy. She is light blond color and the chain part is making the fur on her neck look so dirty. I have bathed her twice and put the collar back on and fur is dirty again in a couple days. I always used this style collar and never had a issue with chain like this. I have made a report with the company as well to see if others are having this issue? I donโt like the dirty look at all.

Very good material, vibrant color and has held up well for my 80 lb American Staffordshire. It does not help with his pulling issues but I love it all the same!

Nice quality, lovely teal colour. Nice padding as well. Unfortunately way too big for my dogs skinny neck and no sizes smaller offered, so sending back.
