I’ve been using these cymbals for two years now, and I absolutely love them! They sound incredible, especially when paired with a Yamaha EAD10—bright, powerful, and full of character. I found that adding some cheap moongels to the bottom helped control the ring for recording, but when playing live, I remove them to let the cymbals truly shine. While I primarily play metal, these cymbals are surprisingly versatile. I’ve used them across different genres and even brought them to a percussion gig, and they fit right in! The dynamics and tonality are outstanding, making them great for both heavy and softer playing styles. For practice, I used them with Evans Sound Off pads and cymbal mutes, and they responded amazingly well. Unlike some other cymbals, they still maintain clear articulation—especially the hi-hat and bell accents, which are usually harder to hear when muted. This makes them great for quiet practice while still preserving natural cymbal articulation. One of my favorite discoveries was stacking the 18” trash crash with an 18” china—this combo sounds absolutely insane! It’s one of the most fun and unique sounds I’ve ever experimented with.Overall, these are some of the best cymbals I’ve ever owned—powerful, versatile, and an absolute blast to play. Highly recommend them!

Sound is perfect, the ride maybe a bit on the dark and deep side for some older classic rock but they were exactly what I wanted and needed .

Exactly the sound I'm looking for in the studio. Euro, Rock fusion. they have the most beautiful little bit of grit. overtones are kept in check perfectly. from the engineers perspective, they sound perfect without having to add distortion/Compression.
