Fresh out of the box it has a pretty flimsy feel to all the joints, the threads that connect the vertical drain pipe to the P trap stripped right away. They hold a gentle pressure before slipping.Unfortunately I had to cut the horizontal extension to fit my tiny custom 12"clearance bathroom sink. So I guess I just wasted $50 on this, let this be a lesson. Just buy the more expensive version at your local hardware storethe gasket to join the brass to plastic pipe does not fit very nicely despite being well within the advertised size range. I don't know if I even trust this to install.

I just installed this on my basement sink. It looks and feels like solid quality and was easy to install. It was a bit more than half the price I would have paid for something similar at Home Depot. Win-win for me.

This Menatt Bathroom Drain Kit is very well made. The stainless-steel finish has an attractive darker hue that doesn't stand out to not match the other stainless-steel fixtures in my bathroom but is unique. The size of the pipe's seems small, but they are the same size as the pipes in a plastic drain kit that I also ordered. The Pop-Up Stopper is metal, not plastic and heavily made. This set includes an escutcheon and Teflon tape. The nuts have a ring of vertical slits on them that gives them a decorative look instead of looking plain and utilitarian. The nuts all tighten as expected during the installation. I am using this drain kit for a sink that won't have a cabinet beneath. The stainless steel looks so much more attractive than white PVC. 10 Stars!!!

We installed a Swedish style floating vessel sink in our bathroom. Although my husband would attach any pvc drain and not care how it looked. I wanted something much nicer to compliment the sink and faucet. This Menatt popup drain and brushed nickel p trap matched perfectly. It is all made of metal, even the popup drain. The drain seemed to have good seals, especially the bit that went inside the wall. This is good because you don't want it ever leaking inside the wall. You can easily unscrew the 2 rings and remove the trap bit for cleaning or if you accidentally drop a ring or some other jewelry. This drain was well worth the small price increase over a plain PVC drain but it looks so much nicer. So glad I ordered it.

Pleasantly surprised at the quality of this P trap pipe with popup stopper. An excellent choice that I would purchase again and recommend to others.
