DO NOT BUY!Extremely disappointed!This item came damaged. Shipped in plastic bag only. Return shipping to china was $75+Now I own a damaged vise because of poor shipping practices and lousy refund policy.I would just like a fair refund.The actual dimensions are substantially smaller than described.

I was looking for a base for my fly vice and I saw that this was the cheapest out of all the options, as some are exactly this product but with a higher pricetag. Figured as there is no reviews I might as well test it myself. I was scared the large hole was too large for the stem but even a thin stem holds well in the base. Parts fit together perfectly and it is heavy enough for my liking, altough sometimes you might move it even with the small rubber grip stickers. Highly recommend this base if you want to travel your setup as you can set it anywhere and unscrew everything, plus the price doesnt get any cheaper for this type of product. Well worth the wait and the price!

Did use a desk clamp however it didn’t fit on some desks. This allows my to just setup on top and works as described.
