My 4 yr. old grandson wanted a pirate themed birthday party in April. This telescope was the perfect add on gift. HE LOVED IT! It helped with the pretend theme and he was also using to spy on squirrels in the tree outside his bedroom window. 😄

My kids love to use it for the imaginary games. It looks good, seems very sturdy, and has already provide a number of hours of use. The box has even been turned into a treasure chest.

I gave this as a Christmas gift to someone who has a nautical themed office. He LOVED it. It was so gorgeous I wish I would have taken pictures. I was really impressed with the wooden box! There is no made in china markings (or any markings at all) and it is solid wood. This was an EXCELLENT find! I could not believe the price once I received it. Well worth the price, plus more!

This is a steal for the price. It is a functional mini-telescope with high quality "leather" lace in a solid, good-looking wooden box with a latch. It would be worth it for the cute little wooden box alone as it is under $10.00. This was great as part of a pirate birthday gift, works well for my son who takes it on walks, and worked as a symbolic graduation gift for an teen relative.

Purchased as an accessory for pirate pretend play, but was SHOCKED by what I received.A truly beautiful piece. Authentic look and feel with heavy brass, high quality faux leather detail, and real glass lense.The telescope is actually functional, which I didn't expect. It extends easily, yet the build is very sturdy.The wooden case is beautiful, great quality wood as well. Thoughtful attention to detail with the felt lining and lense cap to prevent scratches.The authenticity and quality FAR exceeds the humble pricetag. Beyond a simple prop, it's display worthy.

The box is super nice, although it doesnt latch closed.The actual monoscope is cheap, and doesnt really magnify too much. So its not like you will be seeing things from far away.Defintiely cute. defintieyl good for a kid. definitely worth the price.
