I bought these to help with kitbashing my old sci-fi models. Really improves my accuracy and consistency on angled parts, plus keeps my fingers safely away from blades :) Leaves a bit of a burr which comes off easily. Very easy to use. Quite happy with my purchase.

This is a great product, I used this to cut 400 linear ft of quarter rounds and I still have not needed to switch the blade. This made my work faster and easier. The only suggestion I have for this amazon product is to improve the rubber cover handle because I did find that they broke off after completing the work mentioned above. I would still highly recommend this product.

I wanted to replace my mouldings throughout my house - this was so helpful as not all corners are the same. Easy to hold in my hand as I worked. With having 2 shears, my son was able to help to make the job go faster!

Shears work well, lock into angle you want without any problems. They are for lighter material no wood quarter round.

Purchased these for a job that involved a lot of quarter round. They lasted about half the job. There is way too much play in the hinges and on top of that the aluminum angle plates bent on both sets. They may work for plastic trim but I do not recommend for wood.I would NOT buy these again.

Not great, hard to use. Don’t know if I maybe just wasn’t strong enough to cut or if they weren’t sharp. Also it doesn’t stay perfectly at the angle you set it to, so it’s always a few degrees off.

I was looking for some shears to do a couple of projects with some pine strips and this looked like an ideal set to be able to do the job.It came in a set of two plus and I like the option to be able to do angled cuts. I'm going to compare them separately as they performed slightly differently.Starting with Shear A, it is longer and has a thicker base plate. The angles are pretty basic, and the hand grip is relatively comfortable. However, it takes a bit of effort to get your hand over the cutter due to the thicker base. It seems to be flatter than the other shear, which is good because your cut will be a little straighter on the vertical. It compressed the wood somewhat, but still cut all the way through. I also tried cutting some high-density foam, and it worked quite well. The angles are selected easily just by twisting the base, but it takes a little getting used to. The angles were fairly accurate, and it could be used for larger trim pieces.Shear B, on the other hand, has a thinner plate and a shorter grip. It doesn't have as much cutting power as the larger one, but it still performed well. However, the base is not flat because of the manufacturing process, so the vertical cutting is not accurate. Things tended to move around, and so the cuts are not accurate. Both shears did quite well with cutting PEX tubing. The downside of both shears is that you don't have much in the way of selecting angles, but they work well for pretty basic cuts. They come with spare blades, which is a nice little bonus. Shear B is a little bit nicer in the hand and seems to be better suited to smaller items. The angles are well-marked on both, and for basic trim work and small projects, it's an ideal set. However, if you're looking to do picture framing with high accuracy, you're better off getting a more professional set. They seem to be sold under several brand names, so shopping around is a good idea to make sure you're getting the best price. As a set of two, it's a fair price. Shear A gets four stars, and Shear B gets three because of the quality of the construction. For the set, four stars seem to be about right. Ultimately, I think I'll be using this mostly for cutting plastic and rubber tubing for the various projects that I do and occasionally for trim work.
