I have nothing negative to say about this motor. Love that it’s controlled with a remote. Put it on the front of my Shearwater Kayak and it moves pretty fast!

This is my 2nd Motorguide and so far they both have worked great. minor problems with power. But they have worked great on my small boat.

For a "kayak specific" trolling motor why do you have to press down on the foot pedal to engage or drop down the motor? No one can do that on their kayak. Otherwise the motor is awesome and fun to use.
