So the only thing that would make this an enthusiastic 5 star review would be if the black wasn't so shiny. Other than that, this is the deal. I wore this one out in 20F with full-kill rain, through scrub oak and juniper trees and it holds up. It quickly went from a "rare/extreme occasion" to every day for me through my adventures. It's super warm, breathes when you open it up, and air+water tight. I strongly recommend this unit for anyone looking to keep warm in the mountains. Super packable, super light, super rugged. I expect this to last 5+ years of hard use. I rave about it to everyone who will listen!

This is an incredibly warm, responsibly sourced down jacket that is light weight and comfortable in 20-50 degree weather. It pack and compresses extremely well, making it great for layering on hikes or cold weather fishing. Combine this with a waterproof shell such as Patagonia’s Torrentshell and you have the perfect backpacking gear for the Pacific Northwest.

Sweet jacket for Backcountry adventures... Fits tight in to a backpack, so you can always have that "safety" puffy. I'm a big person, but I have to say the chest is tight.
