This is regarding Mountain Spring Heavy Duty Aluminum Foil Emergency Camping Survival Blanket Moisture-Proof Mat - 2 Person | All-Weather Ground Sheet Footprint Mat Tarp Emergency Blanket.It's really thick for an emergency blanket, but not very thick if you're looking for something like a tarp for Camping, it's probably not durable enough to do this regularly.It's very effective at keeping heat in and cold out. Interesting point as a result of this, it does make hide you very well from a thermograph Camara.It packs up compact and is surprisingly easier to carry given its light wieght.This is a really good purchase at this price point.

The quality of this seems good. I thought it would be thicker though for its use, it is about the thickness of a tarp but stiffer. I didn’t want to dirty it outside since it’s been wet and muddy, but I tested it on my rather cold concrete basement floor. I could feel a difference for sure. I couldn’t feel the cold floor and I felt the warmth of my hands on the mat staying warmer compared to placing one on the cold floor where it only felt colder. I do feel this would be effective outside as well. The storage bag could be a tad bit larger but it’s also good because it’s more compact and it’s not overly difficult to get the mat back inside, only a bit.
