I got this to try on a leaf blower I ordered. It was meant to be used with Milwaukee batteries but I only have a couple of those in my collection. I still have many more Makita batteries so I thought I would give this a try being that the blower was very hungry and went through batteries fast. This worked great. The blower functioned that same on the Makita batteries I already had as it did on the Milwaukee batteries. It gave me more work time instead of waiting for batteries to charge or ordering more Milwaukee batteries. It is made well. Everything fits smoothly and securely. Its a convenient and well-made adapter.

I have both Milwaukee and Makita tools. With four batteries for each brand of tool this adapter doubles my capacity. I also purchased an adapter to go from a Milwaukee battery to Makita tool. Both adapters were less than half the cost of one battery. These adapters do increase the size of each tool but the savings not having to buy additional batteries far outweigh this impediment.

Bought this to use my makita batteries on my new Ryobi nail gun. The adapter does work, however I found it to be a very tight fit trying to attach the battery.

I've been converted to Milwaukee tools to work on my vehicles by my son. But I still have a couple Makitas that I love and won't part with. When I'm working on something, occasionally a battery will die and I don't have another battery ready. This helps with that. For occasional use it's perfect.Everything fits good and snug, with no wobble and it's easy to put on. For the occasional 'emergency' need, this is the perfect solution.
