I ordered this bag thinking it had some good reviews and it looked decent. Well, I got the bag and boy what a mess. The first issue, the plastic film is sewn into the bag, therefore you have to spend an ungodly amount of time removing, as it gets stuck in the sewn areas. My concern is that my pet bird could easier ingest this and could harm him if the pieces aren't removed. A week later I'm still actively trying to remove it. Second issue, no perch was provided for the carrier. I've searched locally but due to the size and thickness of the bag I have not been successful in finding a perch that works. Third issue, contacting the seller is a joke. I've been a week with the run around trying to get a perch. Didn't even ask for a refund, since I spent days removing plastic. The seller will not contact you back once they have your money. Basically I have a bag right now I can't use. I had to go and purchase another.

The product itself is okay-ish. I ordered this one and another backpack for my two conures, and I liked the other backpack MUCH better. This one is filmsy and small for two birds. Also I'm honestly not sure about all the plastic. The front is fully plastic which can not only be stressful for your little one (as they haven't got a means to privacy unlike the other backpack where you can cover the front with an outer layer), I also worry about the ventilation of this thing.You see, the fully front plastic can cause the insides to become super hot under the sun and without adequate ventilation and air flow, the bag will turn into an oven. Again, I'm NOT sure how well this thing is ventilated as I haven't used it myself. Just comparing it from seeing it in real life and others photos to the other backpack. There's a reason it's cheaper.This brings me to the second part of my review: the seller IS AWFUL. Absolutely unhelpful. After I saw the product, I submitted a return request on the same day. Because this product is not shipped by Amazon you have to submit a request to the seller if you want to return it. The seller has a time window to respond and either approve or deny your request (which is already a huge hassle).But I said okay, I'll try my luck. I ordered this product on Dec. 5/22. It arrived on the 13th of the same month. I requested a refund on the 13th. The seller DID NOT communicate (neither approve or deny my request). Amazon only gives these sellers around 5 days to reply, mind you. So I contacted Amazon's customer support on Jan. 4/23. They were super helpful (as always) and told me they've sent a message from their part to the seller, again. They advised me to contact them back if the seller doesn't respond within 2 days. Lo and behold, today is Jan 8th and still no response from the seller. I contacted Amazon again and they issued a full refund.In conclusion: Stay away from this product. Buy a better-made, higher quality, and most importantly SAFER backpack for your fur/feather baby. A few bucks more is worth the quality and saves you from the absolutely useless seller "communication".

Beautiful backpack! Everywhere my mom went she got compliments and the parrot was more than comfortable in the spacious compartment. Awesome buy.
