For vinyl record users, this is a very cool way to display the current record you are playing, granted you have the space for it. The "now playing" light really accentuates the display. So I do recommend this if you have records.But I did not give five stars because it was really difficult to insert the acrylic "now playing" into its groove on the wooden base. Also, the acrylic sign was not protected with plastic sheeting. So it was all scratched up when I receive it. I focused on on the acrylic to show the scratches.The stand has a very good overall look though. So I recommend this despite the assembly issue and scratched sign.

The black definitely isn’t black - it’s dark brown. It’s fine other than that, but I was looking for black so was a bit disappointed in the color.
