Worked great until it didnโt.Went on a trip to the south placed all my money and cc in it. Used the code it flap opened but wouldnโt open the entire safe. After an hour and a half of it continuing to open the flap only I then followed the steps to change the code. Once the code was changed it wouldnโt open at all. We had to smash it to open it. It became faulty we tried every which way and it would NOT open resulting in having to smash it to bits to get our belongings.

I love taking our 5 year old to the local public pool but I am always concerned with where to keep my phone and ID while we are in the pool. I love this little lockbox which I can easily carry along with us and just attach to the fence or a post while we enter the water.I like- Good strong lockbox- Portable sizing- Fits small essentials like my phone and our ID, money, cards- Tether for securing the lockbox is long enough for even a thick pole- Easy to use and to reset the lock combinationI had a hard time opening it the first time, it is kind of simple but I was worried I was doing it wrong. Once you have the right combination (it starts with 0000) you flip up the numbers panel and pull the safe open. No clicking anywhere, nothing else need be done. I tried pulling it apart but the first time, it is super difficult to do, so use your strength. Once it pops open the first time, it becomes much easier.

This box reminds me of Pelican boxes. I have a couple of them but this one is great when there is a need to leave it behind.Looks sturdy and durable. Made of ABS. Despite of being lightweight, this can take a beating. Inside the box is EVA lining which protects the contents from being damaged due to jarring. It seals up very well. Airtight. 100% waterproof. So sealed that it was quite hard to open this due to the vacuum inside. Around the inner lid is a gasket that ensures this.The clamp secures this shut very well. Will not open inadvertently. On the clamp is a 4 digit combination lock. Harder to break than 3 combination ones.One thing that makes this a very good security box is the steel wire rope, coated in plastic (PVC?) to prevent it from rusting. It is set up when the box is open. So when you close it, it cannot be pulled out.One thing that i feel that might ruin this is saltwater, which might corrode the combination lock. Otherwise, this is a great way to keep your valuables specially when traveling.
