My hands are arthritic and the thing I worried most about when I ordered the new camera was whether I'd be able to grip it safely. Then I saw this wonderful little strap being used in a review of the camera and ordered one immediately. I've used Op/Tech straps in the past with DSLR and micro two-thirds cameras and know they're strong and reliable.It's fantastic for my use. I put my middle right (I'm right-handed and the strap is attached to the right side of the camera) finger through the loop, then use the right hand to grip and control the camera, with the left hand free to do things like rotate the control ring, flip up the viewfinder, etc. The strap's loop isn't particularly large and fits perfectly over the swollen knuckle on my finger, but anyone with large hands might have to use the strap on the ring or little (pinky) finger.I can grip the camera completely safely using this little strap and don't need the Sony front grip at all. This made me happy because to my eyes the grip spoils the aesthetics of the camera while the little detachable strap doesn't. It's just a massive and comforting help to how I'm able to use the camera. Very, very highly recommended to anyone who's using a small compact camera.

Premetto che sono una donna di media statura (1 e 70), di taglia normale (42) e con mani non da contadina moldava.Ebbene a me questo coso non entra nel dito e lo trovo di una scomodità inaudita, solo per infilarlo al dito ci vogliono decine di secondi e poi appena lo hai messo a fatica, ti comprime il dito a mò di laccio emostatico e rischi la cancrena.Io lo consiglio agli hobbit.

I bought this as the first strap for my new camera. I was terrified that I'd fumble it or one of my kids would bump me or knock it out of my hands and it would be ruined, and this is a fantastic prevention for that. It's small, but the loop and the strap are both strong and solidly built. I feel comfortable using it.I have it on the same side of the camera as the shutter button, and I slide my middle finger into it while I'm picking it up. It's neoprene and cloth-lined on both sides so it's smooth and has a little stretch. I've added a regular camera strap since I bought it, but the tiny loop doesn't interfere with the regular strap at all so they're both on it, which means I can pick up the camera off a table and start using it immediately without fear of dropping it.I don't have any of the other op/tech accessories, but I like the idea of the interchangeable quick-release straps a lot, which is another plus.

最小限のデザインのものが欲しくこちらを選びました。中指に着けて使っています。適度に絞まって落とすこともなく、素材が柔らかいのでカメラにあたっても傷が付かず気に入って使っています。

Appena si vede questo cinturino da dito, si pensa ad una curiosità senza alcuna possibilità di essere pratica e razionale, ma quando si fanno le "prove", ci si accorge che il cinturino è pratico anche con fotocamere compatte digitali fra le più pesanti, anche quando non si usa il pollice, come ho iniziato per prudenza a fare io, ma, seguendo l'illustrazione che accompagna il prodotto, si indossa come se fosse un vero e proprio anello al dito anulare. Continuando a sperimentare,quando si lascia cadere dalla mano, improvvisamente, più volte, una fotocamera (anche pesante come una Canon Powershot A1300 con scheda di memoria e due stilo AA ricaricabili, o una Nikon Coolpix L27, sempre con scheda e 2 pile stilo, entrambe anche con la custodia rigida tipo Hama - Colour Style 60 H, dalla quale si lascia uscire tra le due zip serrate il cinturino) non si ha nessun problema. Non c'è alcun bisogno di ortopedico per il dito, come temevo, anzi il dito non subisce alcun tipo di trauma, indicando che solo contraccolpi di pesi molto, ma molto maggiori, potrebbero intimidirlo, e parliamo del dito anulare. Anzi, rispetto al solito cinturino da polso in dotazione standard alle fotocamere, l'impressione è di grande sicurezza in più e maggiore controllo della fotocamera con il cinturino anulare in caso di eguale caduta dalla mano.Unico neo il costo che è circa tra le 5 e le 10 volte il valore intrinseco, ma in questo caso si paga l'ideazione, la novità e la simpatia del prodotto.Aggiornamento dell'8/11/2013:devo aumentare di una stella il giudizio, e quindi dare le 5 stelle piene, perchè il prezzo è in discesa. Io il 29/10/2013 ho pagato il prodotto EUR 10,96, ora il prezzo è EUR 8,87, aumentandone di molto la convenienza e mantenendo la comodità di un acquisto direttamente da Amazon, fruendo pure dei vantaggi della spedizione Amazon.
