The Passback Story
The Passback Football was invented by Mike McGonigle in 1993. While watching a football game on Halloween he noticed a goofy looking pumpkin staring at him. The pumpkin’s wide smile seemed to be daring Mike to pick it up. Mike proceeded to chuck it at the wall and it came back to him in a slight spiral. When he returned home he began lopping his old nerf balls into flat footballs. These, like the pumpkin, came spiraling back when he tossed them against a wall. Thus, the Passback was born.
- In the mid 1990's, Hasbro introduced a nerf version of the Passback Football under the name Turbo Blast-Back.
- The modern Passback looks like a normal football cut in half with a rubber pad on the blunt end.
- Now available in composite leather or rubber, the Passback has the same weight, feel and stitching of a regulation football.

After getting used to sprinting a few steps towards the wall in order to catch the ball on the bounce, it works great. Good (extra) exercise too.

12 year old loved it as it can be used even if no one is around to pass it to...WARNING not to be thrown against aluminum or vinyl sided buildings. Brick or concrete only to avoid damages.My 10 year old Granddaughter jokingly dubbed it "The Fatherless Football"

Who needs friends anymore when you have this ball and a brick wall !The ball gets 4 stars only cause the stupid white stripe is slippery when letting the ball go but if you adjust your finger a little its fine.Overall it has good grip and feels like a regular football.I would also suggest you throw it agents a cinder block wall not a brick wall just to keep the ball in better shape so it last longer.Great buy for kids and adults.

da man nicht immer einen Kumpel zum Werfen findet, dafür aber öfter eine Turnhallenwand, ist dies mein Tipp. Der Ball kommt auch bei schlechten Würfen auf 10-15 Metern direkt in der Luft zurück.Bei weiten Würfen von 20-30 Metern setzt er zwar auf dem Rasen auf, hat aber immer so viel Kinetik dass man sich meist nur 2-3 Schritte bewegen muss und man hat ihn wieder.Die Nähte halten auch. Perfekt!

Made really well. Once inflated it's held its pressure. Rebound from the red-brick wall I use it on is better than expected. I was sceptical it would work, but I'm now impressed with the design and very pleased it.

The size was a bit big for my 10yo but it works, the junior size was sold out at the time
