Yes it’s plastic but it’s a significant quality and design upgrade over the builder quality junk that it replaced. Super easy to install!

Good product. Except the product picture shows the word "Pfister" laser engraved on the pop-up stopper surface but the actual product doesn't have anything engraved/etched on it.

The Push & Seal plug for our Pfister bathroom faucet gave up the ghost due to the internal spring breaking. Amazon had by far the least expensive part. I didn't even need the larger drain section, just the pop-up part. Simply unscrewed it and replaced the faulty pop-up plug part in our sink. The unneeded drain section simply went into the recycling, along with the packaging. Easy peasy, lemon squeezy!

I'm just your average home DIY'er, but I would say with high confidence that these are genuine Pfister units. They don't have the logo on top of the stopper, which I wouldn't want anyway, but I found reviews of these same units on the Home Depot site where Pfister had officially responded that the newer iterations of this drain do not include the logo.As for the units themselves, install is totally painless and can be done in 10 minutes if you have no issues removing your old drains. I replaced three drains in my home with these and just ordered another one to do my last bathroom, and I then I even ordered a 5th unit to keep as a spare just in case.Great price for these and I would highly recommend them.Just a tip, on one of my old drains I was not able to unscrew the upper part from the lower assembly. The old drain assembly was also made of plastic so I just cut it off with a small reciprocating saw in about three seconds. To avoid this, do not unscrew the nut on the underside of the drain on the upper part of the assembly, you instead want to turn the lower part by hand so it unscrews from the upper part.

The seller shipped exactly what I ordered with no defects.This was a real easy installation considering that I was replacing the exact same make and model. No special tools needed except some channel locks to loosen the nut connected to the trap and a towel and bucket for the excess water that came out of the trap when the drain pipe was pulled out. Also, all my pipes are pvc so there were no nasty galvanized pipes to connect to. If this is your 1st attempt at this type of project, take before pics/video and during the disassembly work so the re-install goes easier.
