They’re okay for small cuts but tend to cause the laminate to chip.

They cut, but I ended up just using some heavy duty scissors which were easier to use. Well made.

Bought these thinking people were just not using it correctly, I was wrong, they were chipping every piece I cut. Returned for refund so I needed another means to cut the thin sheet Formica. I tried a very old large pair of tin snips (not aviation type) and they worked so well that on some edges I didn't need to edge router.

This is a low end, inexpensive cutter, made in China. But it actually worked very well cutting Formica sheets, which I cut into panels to reface 19 cabinet door fronts. The only problems were that the strip that gets cut binds into the lower jaw of the cutter and the handle covers come off too easily.
