Fine for a desk fan with some kick. My daughter has a tiny room and I thought it would cool it down but not so much.

I live on the lake and my place has so many windows so it gets so hot. I have other things to help with the heat so this is one of several items I use. This fan is surprisingly great. It is small but mighty. I also took it camping and ran off a battery pack and I take with me when I go to my daughters because it's small and easy to pack. Great solution.

Product is not good enough. Tried with the cold water as well, however, it works just like a fan. Not a cooler at all. Returned it.Worst part , the return is not free. Had to pay CAD $17.00 to return the product. (Seller will give $3.99 back)

As title says, this is used in a bedroom. The mist is also great right after coming in from outside as a quick way to cool off.Some common complaints are easily remedied.The condensation build up is fixed by putting a small towel under it to not ruin side table (used microfiber towel and oscillation still works fine!).Yes it needs to be plugged in, but comes with long cord.Getting a mini icecube tray helps the cooling mist more then large icecubes.Not for extremely humid climates, but in dry alberta it's a godsend when living in a place that doesn't allow window AC.

This thing doesn’t cool down anything. You need to sit directly in front of it to experience any cooling effects. It’s also noisy.Save your money and put a bowl of cold water and ice in front of a fan, that’s what this thing is in a much much smaller form.I’m so disappointed with the results. What a waste of money.

I had tried one other portable AC but the fan on that one was rather weak. The water reservoir was on the top, had a small pour hole and leaked a bit. The tank on this one is on the bottom, making it easier for filling and can easily put in Ice cubes. Does a great job at keeping me cool during the summer.Update Aug 10: The fan is still good, but the major feature of misting has now broken, kinda sucks, after such a short time.

When I first got this "AC" unit it was fine for noise levels, as in, it was tolerable. It's by no means quiet, even on the lowest level, but after having it for a few weeks it has gotten loud to the point of where I can't use it on it's third setting. It blows cool air, which is the only reason I gave it 2 stars.The evaporation cooling only works if it's pointed directly at you, and after a little bit you're going to be damp, and if you wear glasses it's going to cause issues. The cool misting air is quite cool though, which is nice.

This is NOT an air conditioner, it's a 3 speed fan, with optional cooling mist. The mist is cooling, but it's mist, so it adds to the humidity. I was looking for nice dry cool air, and this is a decent fan, but it is not an air conditioner. There is no way to get very cool air without the mist (Level 1 or 2) being on. I will be returning it.
