This thing works super well, we love it, but it is tight and not overly easy to open. Not necessarily hard, but it takes two hands. Overall very happy with it.

Looks good, make sure you keep it compact when on the counter because it does take up a bit of room when fully open but works really well.

It’s a great all in one solution for prepping your margarita or cocktail glasses. I tried using multiple plates and squeezing lime juice and pouring salt out. And the improvised route is less than optimal, a dedicated kit for doing the job just makes the process simpler and more streamlined. Less cluttered overall, being contained in a single unit keeps your bar counter clear.And it does a good job, not just with keeping your area tidy; but also in coverage and effectiveness of coating the rim of your glass. Especially with the foam ring, that just allows you to get more lime juice around the rim. With a shallow plate you have to use a lot of lime juice just to get the depth you need to fully coat the rim ¼” up the sides. With the foam it uses less lime juice to accomplish the same thing. And the high walls on the salt and sugar dishes keep them from spilling out onto the counter.Emptying and cleaning poses a bit of a challenge. Pop each disc out individually starting with salt, then sugar, then lime to empty their contents before washing for less mess. As other reviewers seem concerned about the sponge, I’d say it’s less concern for me. Soak it shortly, squeeze out as much as you can without damage and set out to dry. Sponges tend to have antimicrobial properties anyways so I’m not especially concerned about long term product care.It is a bit larger than I anticipated, but if you have those spiffy restaurant style margarita glasses it will accommodate most glasses, save the large fishbowls you might see an entire table sipping on. I would go so far as to say it would get the job done in a real bar if you’re trying to keep costs down. But I wouldn’t want to drop it, plastic seems like it would be prone to shattering from impact.On the whole, it was a good choice as I was looking for one of these and not willing to spend a lot of money on it. Quality is there for the price; I think it’s a step above the home job alternative.

I love Caesar’s so I wanted something to make rimming them easier! This is so handy and great for the price!! I also put sugar so I can rim my fancy mock tails I make at home as well
