I was sick of losing my 10mm socket so those are great, fixed my losing problem and even if they might not be indestructible, they will outlive me (because there are five of them).

I thought that the slimmer part of the piece would be hollow to accommodate the extended part of a bolt. But this has a magnet in place, purely for holding the head of a hex screw...I don't understand the tapering of the piece.

Wish the magnets would do it jobs, but for the price of 5 units it's not bad, magnets don't really work if your bolt is to short.

I ordered this nut driver to install a new style drum support roller with a 6mm shaft on LG dryers. Found it to be good quality and perfect for the task at hand. The driver is hardened steel and heavy duty. I don't have a need for the magnetic insert in the driver but is does not interfere with the performance of the tool itself. The 1/4" hex shaft fits nicely into my impact driver. Satisfied with this purchase.
