Wonderful product + customer service! The install was simple and I broke a tab wing months later (my own fault) and was easily tab to order a replacement on their website.

I was a bit skeptical since I never installed this before but I was surprised how easy it is. The wallplate used to cut the hole for the outlet is accurate. As everyone says and even in the instructions, do not over tighten the screws! Once you feel resistance STOP! The connector clips that go into the wall is easy to snap on. Enough length of wire even if you mount the TV higher up. Makes for a professional looking installation. Will be doing another installation in my basement soon. Hopefully it goes on sale. It is a bit pricey but electrical code compliant.

excellent wall mount solution. great quality. easy to use. installation took about 15 minutes or so. i really appreciated the template they provided to use to cut into the wall so you know how big of a hole you will have to do. instructions were very easy to follow and read. highly recommend.

Safe and legal way to hide power cords. UL approved, meets electrical code. A little pricey but worth it in the end. Careful when cutting holes in drywall, if the cut out is larger than the supplied template you will have difficulty securing the outlet. As other reviewers have stated, do not over tighten the outlet screws. I have some wiggle room left with the screws, I stopped once the outlet was flush with the wall. Very pleased with the look, nice and neat .

This a really great product, it is easy to install DIY ... only issue is the screws, they work fine, you just can't over tighten them at all. It takes a bit to realize the mechanics of them and to get the tightening process to start. One you feel the plug casing starting to pull the case into the wall, keep turning the screw only enough to hold the case in place. DO NOT over tighten. Another tip, you need a good stud finder, this will not work if there is a horizontal support stud between two vertical studs as the horizontal stud would make it impossible to drop the cables down. An inside wall works fast and easy, an exterior wall will have the extra effort and hassle of insulation and vapor barrier.

When we got our 75" Samsung TV (for our basement home theater) this December, we hired Hello Tech for mounting the TV. I purchased the TV Mount from Sam's Club and this PowerBridge Dual Outlet was recommended by a friend of mine (who is a super-duper handyman). I ordered this and the Hello Tech Technician did a great job, with concealed wiring. I watched him do install the Dual Outlet In-Wall Cable Mounting System and he told me "this is easy to install, all that you need is a helping hand to mount the TV".Almost 5 years back, I got the our Family Room TV mounted on the wall, but did not do any concealed wiring & cable management. I decided to replicate the Hello Tech Technician's work, ordered my second PowerBridge Dual Outlet Recessed In-Wall Cable Management System from Amazon.I have never cut the drywall so far! My Handyman Humbarto says: "Sir, you need to have patience while cutting the drywall and do it slowly; it is more of an art work". Yes, he is 100% correct. I took time to cut the drywall (of course, after identifying the 2x4 studs), did it slowly, but accurately. OMG, I can't believe that I could cut dry wall so precisely!Once you cut the drywall, the rest of the steps are as easy as 1...2...3..!! Just fix the top box first behind the TV, run all Power, HDMI & USB cables through the top box. Then run them through the bottom box and connect them to your devices (Cable box, DVD Player etc.). It is good to run at least one USB Cable (or) an additional HDMI cable, in case you wish to connect a laptop to view pictures. If you buy the pre-wired version, life is quite easy (to connect the top box & the bottom box).The last step is to power up from the bottom and there we go! My wife could not believe that I did it all by myself (esp. cutting the drywall). No loosely hanging wires... all hidden behind the wall.This is a well designed DIY Tool for concealed wiring. Excellent product, that's worth it's price.

For those who are installing a wall mount TV and need to add power, this is your answer. My husband and I are updating our fireplace wall. There is no electrical outlet on the wall. We had an electrician out and he recommended going through the ceiling. After some more online searching I found this! It is a fabulous alternative. Or as my husband said, someone is a genius.

This kit is fantastic. It includes everything you'll need to get power to your TV. The dual outlets also make it easy to add a sound bar or Philips light kit behind a tv. This kit is fire code compliant and you don't have to bother wiring anything up. The plug in cables make adding power a job a child can complete. Definitely buy this kit if you're mounting a tv or need an extra outlet somewhere and don't want to call an electrician.
