They work fairly well for both large and small snap rings, it just depends on the amount of space you have to work with. They feel very solid built, and like they will not break. I used them on assembly and disassembly of a 4L60-E Transmission.

I bought this to pry open a small metal thing that attaches to a part of my blinds, I was fairly sure it wouldnt work because it was too big but i was desperate. It was EXACTLY what i needed and made the job a breeze, i was pretty impressed with the thinness of the part you insert because it looks so rugged in the images but even with the sturdy appearance it was thinner than I expected and worked great. I'd had to use my hands and a combination of wedges, hammers and pliers for quite awhile for this and with this tool now it only takes a few minutes. Very pleased with the item and price.

Great product! Simple design but quality and great price. The reviews about the handle being wide is true but shift your hand down a little and you’re fine. It’s for snap rings so you don’t need that much strength. I’ve been looking for a good inside snapping pliers and glad I got these. Would buy again if I ever have to.
