I really like these pistol style torches. They are great for getting campfires going. I mean I am sure you can make one heck of a Crème Brulé because it’s a serious flame once it gets going; I wouldn’t cook anything serious with it (Hotdogs on a stick? lol). You need to turn the gas on a little bit from the 10lb tanks to make it work reliably. And the boost works great!This is the second one of these that I have now only under different brand names. They are identical except for the logo and the regulator dial colour. The body, diffuser, grip, boost, style, everything else is identical. I really like them especially since I got a 20lb propane tank adaptor that can plug right in. (You can use it to refill the 1lb tanks). I believe I gave the last one a slightly disappointed review at the time, but I played with it a bit more and they do work.Yes, it’s a bit of a gimmick but the quality is pretty good when it’s working. I am giving a 4.5 stars but I can’t give fractions, so I will round up to 5 stars because the overall quality is okay and they work fine too. Get the propane tank adaptor, you won’t regret it. *I am worried that the trigger may fail (like clicky electric lighters often do) but time will tell. (My other one is already struggling). I may need to clean inside somehow? So far this one works great.

Never leave a bottle hooked up to this one, the next day it will be empty! It does work for the price, but I should have spent the money for a better quality one…
