I thought it would be a bit bigger but it does the job I was hoping for it to do. It is well made and as long as you treat it gently it will last a very long time. It is a simple item really. Two wires hooked up to a piece of metal which is all held together with a type of plastic coating. Ok over simplified but that is the basics.I have tested it and yes it will boil water. It takes a while but you can get a cup of coffee out of it. You can use this inserted into liquids or you can use it as a type of mini heating plate. If you have good math skills you can calculate what heat temp you will achieve with which size of plate you attach it too. For me I use it as a warmer for my resins. A dryer for my plaster work and so on. I have it setup in a box and it does a great job of warming the inside and that is what gets the job done.I have it plugged into my solar power feeds. I haven’t measured the amperage, but the difference in charge on my battery it is almost not existent after an hours use. For the price I did not expect the quality. I will be looking to this company should I need more.

All I know is it does heat for my small carboard chamber to heat and cure epoxy faster, I can't say if temperature is accurate, but I am happy for what it does. Also I have to improvise with a heat dissipation from heatsink to release the heat faster.
