I decided to get this product since I wanted to have one for a long time but never got around to buying one. Since it includes a pair of speakers, you don’t need anything else except records to start using it!There are a couple of options on the turntable itself. For example, there is a 45rpm adapter, the tonearm lift lever, an auto stop button, a speed selector (33 and 45), a lock for the arm and a power button that also acts as a volume level. It already comes with the stylus installed, but you’ll need to remove its cover before using it (it’s also good to keep it nearby since you can put it back to protect it). There are a couple of things on the back, like a headphone out, an aux in (to play your music through the speakers), a power jack and speaker clips. The turntable is pretty easy to use. If you have a LP record, simply put it on the turntable, select the right speed, use the tonearm lift, hover the tonearm over the rim of the record and release the lift. It should start playing after a couple of spin. The sound quality through the speaker is fine. There’s a lack of bass and clarity, which is normal because of the speaker size. It does sound better when using it with quality speakers. All in all, I’d say that this is a good product if you want to introduce yourself with records. I highly recommend it.

I have fond childhood memories of my father playing his turntable back in the 1970s. I remember all his talk about the importance of the special needles and the required care for using vinyl records. This item is a throwback to those days, as vinyl records are making a marketing comeback. Is this the best sound system out there? No. Is it a total blast of nostalgia? Yes.For the price, this is a good (re)entry-level item that will tickle those nostalgic bits to allow you consider whether it's worth investing more into the vinyl world. The sound quality here is adequate, but it's not CD or digital quality (obviously), and it can have those characteristic scratches and hisses that sometimes accompany a less than perfect record press or one with scratches. That's part of the experience people probably want. It's "warm" to my ears somehow. The accompanying speakers are decent for their size, and you can run a line out of this unit to plug it into your amplifier or mixer, as may suit your setup and tastes.Overall, not a great hi-fideilty system, but what do you expect. My wife and I get a kick out of "putting on a record" and reminiscing about reading liner notes and being teenagers again. Fun stuff.

This is a very nice turntable for anyone wishing to get back to vinyl or getting into vintage vinyl for the first time, this is a great turntable with speakers to go anywheres. It is a basic setup, not a professional turntable that can be plugged into stereo system. It's a self contained unit that can play all vinyl records that was ever made, 33's,45's and the vintage old 78's .The volume knob is also your on/ off switch and there is no bass or treble adjustments, but it has a decent sound thru the speakers. It has a nice tonearm lever to safely keep the tonearm up from damaging the stylus/ needle and when the tonearm brought back to its resting position, the turntable players stops and turn off. There is no automatic return of the tonearm to rest at the end of the record when it's finished. You can connect your phone to the turntable thru Bluetooth if you wish to stream music to play music on the turntables speakers. The clear top cover can also be removed just like the old turntables did and you can also put the cover down while there's a record on the turntable. For anyone wishing to have a self contained turntable to take to places or parties to play old vintage records or just to have at home, this could be the answer.
