The 10' Braided Refrigerator Water Line (ASIN B0C7M7KSTB) from Ondiomn is exactly as described in the ad.I opted to go with a braided line over standard plastic for additional protection. As I live in a rural area, it's not unheard of to encounter the occasional field mouse. I no longer have to worry about coming home to a flood should an unwanted visitor decide to drop by for a drink. Great peace of mind.

It is what it is. A 10 foot braided water supply line for a refrigerator. The quality is just as good as the big box stores, except a little cheaper and it is delivered. Win Win

We moved the fridge to another wall and used this line to connect it up. It seems to be a solidly built hose. 10' was a bit longer than I needed but I've found that by pre-coiling it a bit kind of tight it will suck up the slack when you slide the fridge in. It was a bit hard to get the fitting started as the washer hadn't been compressed and the threads didn't quite catch. Just push hard and twist to get it going.

I have been using the typical ¼” plastic water line to my garage refrigerator since its installation years ago despite understanding the risk of water damage this presents. I recently replaced the line to my kitchen fridge with a braided steel line and decided to eliminate this risk in the garage. This is high quality product with superior materials which is the key to reliability in this application. Installation is very straightforward. I can now leave the house for extended periods without concerns of water damage due to a failed plastic water line such as I have experienced in the past. I have seen similar products packaged as a bundle with extra hardware such as plumbing fittings and/or valves which are nice if needed but just extra cost if not so I appreciate the lack of these cost adders. I strongly recommend this type of water line to anyone still relying on failure prone plastic.

I got this to attach my counter top ice maker in my bar area, and so far so good! It is a quick installation with an adapter to the existing system. The grip is tight on both ends and there's no leaks. I don't like water in my fridge, so I didn't get a fridge with water which is where the water is run to, so I needed something to make up the difference. This does the job nicely!

This seems like a nice quality, which is important as fridge water line issues are a frequent cause of flood damage in houses.I appreciate that the rubber gasket/o-ring remain in place in the connectors and do not tend do fall off. I would recommend adding a bit of teflon tape to the threads to be extra-sure that nothing will leak should the rubber o-ring dry out and fail after several years. The hose diameter is not too big, which makes it easier to tuck between the fridge and the wall. The length is plenty to allow you to pull your fridge fully out and access the back. 6' instead of 10' would actually be even better.

The fridge water line comes in a box wrapped up so once opened, it is ready to be installed. The installation process is simple as you simply screw both ends of the line into the respective adapters. With a fitting of 1/4”, the line has a rubber fitting around the gasket as well as a steel sleeve so it should be compatible with most fridge models while offering leak-proof protection. The line itself is a steel braided exterior around a PEX inner tube so you get better water purity and stronger protection under high water pressure. However, this does make it harder to bend the line so if installation requires you to snake the line around corners or walls, you may run into some issues. The line itself is ten feet in length so you have a lot of leeway and slack when installing. If too much, you will need to loosely wrap the line up although it will not be small or tight given the braid design’s inflexibility. Once installed, the water flows through seamlessly with no issues and tastes normal. Overall, the fridge water line is made of quality materials all while being very easy to install which negates any bending issues you may come across.

Just slapped it on from the fridge water line to my new fridge, tightened the ends and it worked. No fuss. Definitely prefer this to all the extra steps involved with the plastic options. Though it was a bit tricky putting the fridge back in place because it's not as bendable as plastic, so I had to coil it up first before pushing the fridge in. All in all took about 20 minutes.
