I was looking for a new water line after my old one developed a puncture and leaked everywhere. I got this braided PEX water line to replace it and ensure a more durable connection for my fridge’s ice maker. The installation was simple, and the 20-foot length gave me plenty of flexibility.Pros:- No leaks after installation- Strong braided exterior for added durability- Generous 20-foot length provides flexibility- No impact on water taste or odor- Easy to connect with standard fittingsCons:- May require a coupler depending on your setup- The braided exterior makes it a bit stiff to maneuver

Good construction with a good seal even at finger right. The metallic sheath offers more protection than needed in my installation situation. However, because of the extra length, we were able to try our refrigerator in another location in our kitchen. Our motivation for changing the water supply line was my wife did not like the look of the brownish biofilm visible in the original plastic tubing. The metallic outer braid "looks nicer".

I followed the instructions and it replaced my old copper line that was leaking a bit in no time.I ran several jugs through as it suggested and I taste no plastic or metal or anything of the sort. I'll still also be disposing of the first few batches of ice as it suggested as well to be safe.A good, working product. Can't ask for much more from it.

Perfect replacement of my 1/4" copper line, with compression fittings. I had installed my old line nearly 25yrs ago and reused the same line when I replaced the fridge. I was afraid that one day it would break and would cause a mess when I wasn't home.Replacement was simple. Shut the valve off, remove the old copper line and fittings, and then ran this supply line from the shutoff valve (which branches from my water filter), to the back of the ice box on the fridge (through the bottom of the base cabinets). Before connecting to the fridge, I turned on the shutoff valve a little, to flush the line out a bit into a bucket.Connect it to the fridge, turn the water on, check for leaks, and back in business. Just in case, I threw out the first 3 or 4 batches of ice it made. No perceived taste or odour with the ice after replacing the line. With the rubber gaskets inside the fittings, you do not need to overtighten the connections either.

I bought this water line but I thought I would need one fitting to hook up to the water line. I removed the hard line copper and found the new water line hooked up into the old fitting, EXCELLENT!!! Now it's done with no leakage, perfect length, and functionality!!!

I wanted to split off the water filter at the sink to another tap, and this worked pretty well. I needed to get the correct T connection for the split to work, but now I have clean filtered drinking water at two locations.Very pleased with the 20ft length.

✅ The feel and performance of the hose was indistinguishable from those available in stores. Quality was very good.✅ No product impact on water quality was detected. No off taste nor odors.✅ The 20 foot length was generous and practical.✅ No leaks were detected. The gaskets were uniform.✅ The hose sheath was very robust and resistant to damage from the environment.SUMMARY:You can't mess with the quality assurance of plumbing products, otherwise nobody will buy them. The received supply line hose appears to behave reliably.

No weird taste and no water squirting all over my kitchen because the stove drawer cut the waterline to the fridge so so far so good

My fridge is in a utility room next to the kitchen (no room in kitchen for it), so to hook up the ice maker/water dispenser, I needed to run the water line to the other side of the room to the clothes washer water spigot. About 18 linear feet. So this was a perfect fit with the changes in height it also required. Since I ran it on the wall, even though it's mostly behind shelves and tables, I wanted a strong line to protect it just in case. I used conduit clamps to attach it to the wall and it's barely noticeable.

Used this braided stainless steel line to connect a water supply to the fridge in my garage. The lead free fittings connected fine with no leaks or issues. The quality is comparable to the same water lines that are available at big box retailers.

Good friend had their plastic ice maker line ruin their hardwood floors. I ordered this the next day. Great having the strength of the braided line to help prevent a water break. Easy to replace and well worth the time and effort.

You do clean behind your refrigerator on a regular basis, don't you? If you don't, it is probably because it is a pain to pull your refrigerator out from the wall and get behind it. Picking up this 20' braided water line will make this process much easier. The 20' line will allow you to pull the refrigerator out and have the room to get behind it. The braid on the water line helps protect the water line in case you accidentally tried to roll the refrigerator over it when putting it back against the wall. The only thing you might need to pick up with this line is a coupler depending on the type of hookup you have on the back of your refrigerator. Overall, this is a great ice maker water line to pick up.
