I liked the look of this shelf and gave it a shot. At first I was skeptical, since you never know with buying online, but the shelf was A LOT more robust than I anticipated, and heavier too. Setup was easy, I had no issues with the screws (and there are some spares as well), and overall it looks great. For the price, I'll definitely get another of this series.

Great book shelf! Easy to assemble- came with allen key.Each piece is numbered; screws also all numbered. Just follow the instructions. Wood finish is impressive. The only thing that isn't the greatest - the bottom drawer is cloth (like a cloth basket with handle). Wooden drawer would have been complete, for me. So, 4 stars it is. Overall, great product!

Absolutely charming. Fairly easy to assemble. Looks fabulous.I have one itsy bitsy quibble: the numbers on the parts which make it easy to assemble are really hard to get off, so they (or scraps thereof) show. But all in all I couldn't be happier. Nice to have something made of wood instead of plastic.

My husband got this as one of his Christmas gifts from the kids. I ended up putting it together for him just for fun. It's beautiful and very pleasing to look at. Not too difficult to assemble but I did have to go back a couple of times because I screwed in the shelves backwards, which was not a big deal. Once I understood the pattern, it was easy. All you need is included, even the securing to the wall strap. very sturdy and promising to last. I do want to add that you should secure it to the wall because once you start putting books especially on the top shelves, it starts to lean forward ( we have ours on carpet, so even more so).

I found this was easy to put together just following the pictures in the instructions. It mainly uses a single allen key but you do need a phillips screw driver to attach the braces to the back of the shelving that comes in 2 pieces. That one just has guide holes so you need to use a little force to get the small screws in, but all the others have well drilled holes. Altogther it took just over 30 mins and looks great, I was alble to clear most of a regular 3 shelf bookshelf and this uses a much smaller footprint which is excellent in my small apartment. I am not allowed to put holes in the walls so I did not follow up with the support hardware to attach it to the wall, but I made sure the heavy books were at the bottom and it seems stable to me. I might remove the bottom drawer and stash some dictionary/textbooks there just to ensure it is weighted properly, but I am not too concerned.Update Nov 2024: it has had paperback novels on the upper shelves but apparently that was too heavy for it as the back is curving forward away from the wall as the two boards acting as the back support is not stable enough to support weight. I am going to try and find a way to reinforce the back, but the wood may have warped at this point. Disappointing, I was planning on getting a second, still think it is cute but be mindful of what you put on the upper shelves.

Fits nicely where I want it to go; seems sturdy and takes up minimal space. Gave 4 stars because hubby had quite a time with assembly. Top half went ok, but bottom half trouble with holes for the screws. Prefab holes were not drilled down far enough and he had a devil of a time drilling with his own drill to accomodate the length of the screws. He succeeded, but took him better part of afternoon.

I was a bit skeptical to buy this to be perfectly honest. It appeared nice but was nervous it would look “cheap”.The shelf is much more sturdy than I was expecting, also heavier than I was expected. As mentioned in other reviews the initial part of setting up is a bit confusing, but once you get a visual in your mind it’s actually very easy to construct. Perfect size, great value and was quite surprised that even the screws seemed to be above my expectations for quality. Looking to buy another one for my kid’s rooms!! Highly recommend for an elegant look in small spaces.

It's not a good product as per the price. Overall the kind of finish and material used are very low. With such a high price one looks for quality. Don't go on the pictures added on amazon. Its not listed on prime. So you will not get a verified product that what I got a reply from Amazon team. I wished to keep it but the pasting quality and finishing are looking very cheap. So I am returning it.
