The pieces are good quality, most will go in without glue but would be more sturdy with glue. Some panels you have to cut for the translucent areas, the sensor works well but the battery switch has much to be desired, the biggest issue is that this model is poorly lit. not enough light to show off most of it's details. and it would have been nice if it had come with protective plexi panels for the front, I made my own but its always better if they come with them as you won't get in there too easily to clean it (made my own covers).the purpose of these nooks is to show off the internal detail, and with the lack of interior lighting that's just not possible with this set. A bit disappointing. There are other better well lit nooks out there with better instructions at this price.

The wiring was very tricky, the touch sensor doesn't work half the time, the lever on the battery pack makes the entire display stand cockeyed.

I love these kits with the board parts! I've assembled others, and this one doesn't look much different. I enjoy jigsaw puzzles and these have a similar flavor with a feeling of accomplishment at the end. The printing on this one is good and all of the pieces appear to be there. The instructions are simple but seem adequate. This is larger than I thought. Very detailed, but not exactly easy to assemble. Small hands and magnification glasses help.
