I have owned many Rovner (and similar type) ligatures for saxophone over the years. The Rovner Light in particular presents excellent value ($35.00 CAD as of the time of my order) as it is a durable, well-made ligature. I prefer the Light over the "Dark" models, and I even prefer it over the MK III Ligatures. Nice, clear response, not too bright but very free-blowing. Intonation is as good as the player. I purchased the Soprano Hard Rubber size to fit a metal Tenor Sax mouthpiece (similar to an Otto Link metal size) and it works great!

This guy works great for my soprano sax mouthpiece but also my much slimmer alto mouthpiece that is an otto link. It's a tiny bit of a struggle but can also work for an otto link tenor mouthpiece in a pinch as well. Worth the money!

I've used Rovner ligatures for probably as long as they've been making them, and have used various light, dark,& Eddie Daniels ones over the years. I've tried a few of the "newest & greatest" ligs that seem to come out regularly, and get more & more expensive, but it seems there's always a Rovner for whatever sound I'm seeking. I use them on my tenor, alto, soprano, & Saxello, and they do well for me!

Works great. I had a Selmer C* mouthpiece and the metal band ligature that was with it just didn't work. The Rovner provides better control.

I like these so much that this is my third one! Give a great flexibility and feel to your reed, whilst easy to adjust if your style needs to change for certain pieces.
