I am always looking for more poew3rful, small hand held magnets to use when separating the stainless steel tumbler pins from my firearm brass cleaning episodes. This one replaced a smaller unit and works much better, meaning it collects more pins, faster, sooner. Price is fair. I learned on the last smaller version-Do Not submerse in water based liquids--it will rust internally and force you to take it apart and re-attach the magnets. Nice thing when you do have to do that is to attach additional magnets, with a better adhesive.

Cheap, CHEAP, and misleading. The magnet doesn’t hold anywhere near 16 pounds. I’m trying to return but they won’t respond to my request.DO NOT BUY!

This magnetic separator is made up of 5 small magnets. It is not capable of picking up a 1 pound of small steel shavings. It is only capable if it is single solid object. If you need this for stainless steel media do not get it.

This is a fair product in that it works as it is supposed to, but it is very cheaply made. The construction is of the most inexpensive materials and the finish is the same. It does the job and is a fair price point for what you get.

It works but it can't lift anywhere near 16 pounds. It also does not have the power to pick up multiple small objects.
