I have experience cleaning tanks, and did not see a noticeable difference from traditional methods when I tested this device. It feels cheaply made and is almost entirely plastic. Mine may be defective as leaked from every connection, including the valve knob around air valve. I don’t feel like this will last more than a few uses, which is important to me as I was hoping to use it for my business (assuming it really worked as claimed). It’s also very expensive on Amazon Canada and more than twice US prices. To be fair, most people who buy this gadget probably don’t have experience and won’t use it more than once, so the fact that it’s simple to use is a plus.

Works great. Used it at my rental. After 3 years, I got a LOT of sediment from the tank and it was flowing clean after 5 minutes. I like how this disrupts the sediment and makes draining / flushing faster. Easy to use.

The unit is as described. Well built, did not leak, was easy to use with my compressor. But I have my doubts as to its overall effectiveness as my water heater was not drained for a decade and I saw virtually no evacuation of sediment, I imagine it is still in there. Although the first blast of air did improve the flow of water from the tank by clearing the outlet. the clear plastic body is brilliant as it allows for monitoring the progress of the water quality.

Following the instructions and watching the Sediment Busters company video was very informative and well made. You must pay attention to the details which's makes cleaning and purging sediment without issues.... This is my video and after watching and listening to the video I had No issues using this product... I was amazed to see how much debris came out of my water heater, so I'll be sure to flush my water heater on a regular basis... Good luck to Ya'll.

I used the product last night. I think my water heater was pretty limed up. (We have very hard water). The device addressed the problem. During the process the kitchen faucet got stopped up and I had to apply reverse air pressure to the faucet to clear it up.I ended up getting a lot of lime out, a lot of big chunks. The drain valve kept clogging up so I had to keep working with it until it ran freely. I worked for about 3 hours on this, and I will probably have to have another go at it. 90 PSI seemed about right. Now that I'm more familiar with this process, it will go more quickly.The device works well. The design and materials are good quality. I expect to use this for a long time. The clear plastic let me visually monitor what was going down the hose.It would be best to use this before the water heater gets too bad. Best for routine maintenance.I would buy again.
