We were tired of trying to figure out how much water was in our Berkey all the time. Nobody wants to lift off the top unit to check constantly. This was a game changer! Looks great and does exactly what it is supposed to.

The spigot works well, for sure! However there’s a very notable smell, I can only describe it as a plastic/ metallic smell which also affects the taste of the water. I’ve tried running hot water through it, soaking it in baking soda and dish detergent, soaking it AGAIN in a white vinegar and water mix and the smell persists. Other than that it’s just fine!

It is easy to install and it works very well. Once up and running it is easy to read and the silver tap looks great. I’m happy that I purchased this good looking Berkey attachment.
